JdSG's Practice Resource Centre (PRC)
… Gateway to Excellence
The core dental practice management philosophies, systems, communication and staffing issues are the same for any practice, general or specialty, wishing to succeed. However… JdSG Management by Design programs are designed to acknowledge the additional management needs and requirements for the following specialized practices in dentistry.
| Endodontics |
Oral Surgery |
Orthodontics |
| Pedodontics |
Periodontics |
Prosthodontics |
Concerns
- overhead & other business expenses
- staffing needs
- marketing
- financial options
- scheduling
- computerization
|
| B. Multi-doctor practices |
C. Multi-location practices |
The 6 concerns above also need to be fine-tuned for Multi-doctor and Multi-location practices.
Today, nearly 50% of graduating dentists are women. Two key areas needing acknowledgement are the female owner/manager/leader working with an all-female staff and the female dentist/employer who juggles running a business with family needs.
Establishing a new practice for a dentist can cover a wide spectrum of situations and needs … This can range from opening a new practice just after graduation, after leaving an associateship, or leaving the military. JdSG’s coaches have had solid experience in helping clients developing a new practice in all of these environments.
| F. Final Year dental student |
One of Jenny’s passions, over the years, has been working with certain dental schools on their management programs for the final year dental student. We have lost count of the number of dentists who have contacted us to inform us they still have the notes they took when either seeing Jenny live or listening to one of her audio programs while still in dental school. We are currently working on developing a special program for final year students … Stay tuned!!
