Is your practice located outside the United States?
A personal message from Jenny:
I particularly enjoy presenting my programs to dentists and their team outside the US. It is always exciting, challenging and full of surprises. One can present a program in a country where management has, up to that point, not been on the radar screen; to finding oneself in a practice in a small community, which has taken both clinical care and patient service to the height of excellence as I have never seen anywhere else.
At the FDI meeting in Sydney in September ‘04, with dentists in attendance from many countries around the world, during my program, an Australian dentist asked me how much any practice, on a global basis, should be prepared to adjust my management material to fit their own needs.
My answer? “Common sense and logic knows no borders.” I think 90+% of practical management solutions and patient/practice languaging applies to the practice of dentistry on a global basis. However, I feel it is very important always to bring these techniques and solutions into any practice while acknowledging both national and local cultures. It is essential to also take into account when presenting management programs in any country, the role which government and private insurance companies (if any) play in that country’s dental delivery system, pricing and billing.
Currently we offer the following services for our International clients
► I speak globally for national, regional and local dental meetings and groups. To put my name forward to an association or group in your country, my programs, which I customize for each country’s needs, and International testimonials are at Book Jenny to Speak.
► My audio programs, while recorded in the States, cover practice management applicable to practices on a global basis. In the upcoming months, I plan on creating short management reports for countries of which I have personal management knowledge. My aim is to provide tips, techniques and success stories relating to a specific to help clients implement the JdSG philosophies and systems. Audio program details at Learn at Home.
► We maintain a second secure Web site, which along with email, telephone and fax services, allows us to support practices based outside the US to work with our Coaching by Design program.
